This is the name of my soon to be constructed HOn3.5 scale representation of the Railways of Queensland. Layout construction will begin soon, commencing with a branchline. Stay tuned for future developments Here's a very basic plan of my branchline Available real estate for layout. Red line shows where layout will go 2400 x 1200 x 12 ply There's 31 of these Profiles routered using template as a guide Here's the reason why you measure twice and cut once! Kitty cat Metal brakets to secure fascia NCE DCC UTP will be secured here. Terminal recess from front of fascia View of DCC terminal behind the front fascia Lots of bending, liquid nails, clamping and screws Reverse view of corner module, trains will eventually exit here then swing around to the left into staging The corner module was fun! NOT A bit of filler Modules temporarly on saw stools. Slowing coming together. Corner module came up alright. Front & sides of modules painted flat black. Black skirt still to follow to frame and hide lower half of layout. View from the A bit of a mock up. 1720 and 2000 Class railmotor. Leading edge of backdrop, i.e. behind top fascia painted gloss white to help reflect to-be-fitted strip fluro lighting onto layout. Photo of my layout legs. Legs are 1200mm high, made from 50mm SHS (Thanks to my mate Mark). View shows base of leg with a half inch nut & bolt welded in to base to allow for adjustment. Legs bolted to module. 3/16 bolts used.

No 2 end detail Here is half of my 6 car Bandicoot EMU. This is a HOn3.5 scale kit from Wuiske Models Corrugated cardstock available from The Warehouse etc for use on model buildings. Check the price, $2.99 for 10 A4 sheets. Spray paint silver, add rust, you got yourself a nice tin roof! Austrains X53 with QR National decal over Frieght Australia logo, as per prototype One QHAF kit down, 29 to go! 80% completed Wuiske Models Interail QHAF kit Very quickly put together Wuiske Models Interail QHAF kit. Only 80% completed, bogies to be painted, footsteps, light weather. This is my first attempt at a gum tree. I used the twisted copper wire method. Another shot of my first gum.
